Volkswagen was one of the regular clients at SBW that I would routinely produce work for. The work normally included press ads, banners, mailers, posters, etc. I also drew some vector icons, and three maps for dealerships in Manchester, Chelmsford and Cheltenham.

BMW

During my time at SBW I produced various work for the Cooper Group – a network of BMW and MINI dealerships. Carefully following each brand’s corporate brand guidelines, I designed and typeset a wide variety of promotional material, direct mail, on-site POS, press ads, banners, and whatever else came my way.

A photograph taken in Cornwall, summer 2010. A long exposure, shot on film which was cross-processed. The glow in the background is Truro, some 10 miles away. The trail in the foreground is a Chinese lantern, moving right to left, and off into the distance. This photo is scanned straight from the negative with absolutely no post-production.

Orange

During my year and a half at Digerati Studio I spent much of my time working on web-based projects for Orange.
The majority of this was for orange.fr and orange.ch – constructing user journeys for login, registration, checkout processes and the like – using Photoshop and closely following the Orange brand guidelines. I also put my hand to one or two icons, and some animated demos.

Mothercare

Whilst Freelancing for CXpartners, I created visuals for their redesign of Mothercare’s checkout process. CXpartners specialise in user-centred design, and had designed exactly how the checkout works. I was asked to put together the visuals for the front end; creating buttons, forms and laying out each screen according to Mothercare’s particular brand guidelines.

Bristol-based user centred design consultancy cxpartners commissioned me to design and create a map that visitors could access in order to easily locate cxpartners’ premises. The map is designed to be clear and understandable, and to look good. It’s available for closer inspection as a pdf download (180k).
